Kim Gilman

 
 

Kimberly Gilman has been a member of the Ocean City Pops since 2009. She is a native of Glassboro, New Jersey with fond childhood memories of spending time at the Jersey Shore.

Ms. Gilman received her musical training at the Peabody Conservatory, the Manhattan School of Music, and the Juilliard School, where she was a student of the late Jerome Ashby. She performed with regional orchestras all over the Northeast before accepting a full time position with the Virginia Symphony in 2008. After ten years in Virginia, Ms. Gilman was offered a position with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. She currently performs as 2nd horn with the ASO and as a member of the Atlanta Symphony Brass Quintet.

Ms. Gilman lives in Marietta, GA with her husband and two daughters, Violet and Autumn.
