Tina Turner sold over 100 million records. She won twelve Grammy Awards — including three Grammy Hall of Fame Awards and a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. She was the first black artist — and the first woman — to be on the cover of Rolling Stone. For over 56 years, she was rock music’s leading female voice and has twice been inducted into the Rock ’n Roll Hall of Fame. While her songs have broken records around the world, her life represents one of music’s greatest comebacks and one of the world’s most powerful survival stories.
