2009 Luncheon a Big Success  

The Friends of the Ocean City Pops celebrated their “Sweet 16” Birthday during their Annual Summer Luncheon, Thursday, August 20, at Greate Bay Country Club, Somers Point. More than 250 Pops patrons and party lovers attended. Baritone Steven LaBrie provided the entertainment accompanied by Jeffrey Uhlig.

The Annual Friends of the Ocean City Pops Luncheon is a major fund-raising endeavor in support of the city’s outstanding orchestra. The Friends are very grateful to the local businesses and organizations that contribute merchandise and gift certificates, and in doing so, make the luncheon a highlight of the summer season.
